i'm not sure how 'seniority' runs on HB,
but since i have the bigger post count...
and i'm the only one on this forum right now,

this forum was created for something, and
placed in this particular category for some reason.

what i wanna know--

somebody gimme a background on this thing.
i'm assuming it has to do with a comic, manga,
or something of the sort. i've personally
never heard of it, and i have gone through
the older threads.

i don't wanna run a search on the internet.

somebody tell me the history or storyline.
i wanna know characters, their characteristics,
or just gimme your favorite whatchamacallit.

Pooky set up the forum to discuss the works of Jhonen Vasquez. He started out writing a comic strip for a magazine which he turned into his own comic series, Johnny the Homicidal Maniac. The series ran seven issues. He also did a couple of offshoots from that title. Nickelodean signed him to do an animated series called Invader Zim. If you don't want to hunt down the books to read you should at least check out the cartoon on Nickelodean. He has a great sense of humor, and is easy to relate to through his work. Especially if you tend to hate the general population.

the books that sorta branched off JtHM are i feel sick, squee, and fillerbunny. from left to right, the characters in the forum image are: dib from invader zim, nny from johnny the homicidal maniac, squee, jhonen as a bunny, fillerbunny, devi from JtHM and i feel sick, and GIR from invader zim.

here are some shatzy facts:

1) i do not watch tv... so i won't be able
to see any show =(
(i do, however, own a tv, with which i watch
various rented/owned movies)

2) i dig comic series if the art and storyline
is good. it can be either or... or both.

3) this stuff sounds interesting, will check out the site

4) i despise the general public on a whole
